“WHAT’S A CHAP TO DO WITH A PIANO...
ONE THAT’S GOT ANOTHER CHAP INSIDE?”
About the Show...
The Wrong Box is a Victorian black comedy based on the novel of the same name by Robert Louis Stevenson and his stepson, Lloyd Osbourne. The book was previously adapted in 1966 as a film starring Michael Caine and Peter Sellers. When Rudyard Kipling read the book, he wrote, "I have got R.L. Stevenson's [The] Wrong Box and laughed over it dementedly when I read it. That man has only one lung but he makes you laugh with all your whole inside.”
